The Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 changed everything. After years of photographing red carpet events, gallery openings, music festivals etc., all that just disappeared, real quick. Everyone needs a headshot... for their LinkedIn page, their FaceBook page, their business card, or just have a portrait they'll be proud to show. Need a family portrait? What should I wear to a headshot session?
It’s hard to go wrong with dark clothing. Most people look flattering in dark clothing and it works with different background colors. White and subtle colors look good as well. Bold colorful clothing and flashy bulky jewelry should be avoided, as they usually distract in a photo.

Do you only do headshots??
I prefer to work in a studio setting, and headshots and portraits fall into that genre. If it can be done in a studio setting, I can photogrph it quite well.

Can you shoot on location?
Sometimes it's easier to shoot headshots in a corporate office if many individuals need new photos. Pricing for location headshots start at $400 and vary depending on how many people need to be photographed. We're located in the West Loop area of Chicago, so coming to our studio shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Do you offer hair styling or a makeup person?
A headshot tries to show you looking your best in a natural and pleasant way. Try to look like you would if someone was to just meet you in a casual setting. A makeup person could be provided at an additional cost if required. If needed, we have a blow dryer, curling iron and some hair products to tame any wild hair that causes an issue.
